Your trust is the foundation of AWR. Because AWR is a mental wellness platform, the information you share can be deeply personal. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and - just as importantly - what we will never do with it.

Our Core Privacy Promise

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mental health information with advertisers or ad networks. Ever. Your journal entries, mood check-ins, Emotional Compass results, and conversations with Coach A are private to your account and are never used for advertising, retargeting, or sold to third parties.

Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form).

Wellness content you create: mood check-ins, journal entries, Emotional Compass check-ins, emotion translations, and messages you send to Coach A. This is the sensitive information we protect most carefully.

Preferences: your selected focus mode and interests, used to personalize your experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate and personalize AWR for you: to provide Coach A responses, generate journal prompts, track your progress and streaks, and deliver the features you use. Your wellness content is processed only to give you the AWR experience - not for any advertising purpose.

Analytics & Tracking

We may use privacy-conscious analytics (such as Google Analytics) only on our public marketing pages (home, sign-up, and log-in). We deliberately do not run analytics or advertising trackers anywhere inside your dashboard - including your journal, mood check-ins, Coach A chat, or Emotional Compass - so your sensitive activity is never captured by third-party tracking tools. Where analytics are used, IP addresses are anonymized and ad-personalization signals are disabled.

AI Processing

Coach A, the Emotion Translator, and the Emotional Compass are powered by artificial intelligence. When you use these features, the text you enter is sent securely to our AI provider to generate a response. This content is used only to produce your result and is not used to serve you advertising.

How We Protect Your Information

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls that tie your data to your authenticated account. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your mental health information with the heightened care it deserves.

Your Rights & Choices

Access & update: you can view and edit your profile at any time in Settings.

Delete your data: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data - journal entries, mood check-ins, Compass check-ins, emotion translations, and chat history - directly from the Settings page. This action is immediate and irreversible.

Depending on where you live (for example, California or Washington), you may have additional rights over your health-related data. We honor these rights regardless of your location.

Age Requirement

AWR is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
